Nepal Diary 10: Back to Katmandu
October 26, 2009
Woke up to the sound of the river at about 7:30am. Breakfast was absolutely unbelievable. You can never go wrong with all-you-can-eat. We pretty much lounged around all day long because the bus didn’t leave until 3pm/ lunch was just as good as breakfast, Joel and I debated if we were going to jump again but we decided to save our money. When the bus came we were ready to goooo. It took us 4 hours to get back instead of the 3 to get here. We were going down-hill, how does that make sense? This time when we stopped for our “bathroom break” the driver just stopped on the side of the road, needless to say the girls on the bus weren’t exactly thrilled. However, my dad, brothers, and I took advantage of the stop. We got back in town around 7pm and the bus dropped us off about a mile from where we were supposed to be and we still had to go pick our luggage up from the Shanker hotel and then move it to our new hotel Thamel. By the time we got finished it was time to go to bed. Our flight leaves tomorrow and it’s going to be a long day.
